Arma 3
Unsolveable problem!
I've had a relentless problem with my screen flickering when looking around whilst playing. The flickering itself looks like a flash of horizontal lines across my screen. I've changed every setting I can within the game itself, as well as checking my hardware for any known issues. My specs are as below:

Intel Core I5-3570 @ 3.40GHz
16GB Ram
XFX AMD Radeon HD7900 Series
500 gig HDD
Samsung 32D850D 32" Widescreen LED

I've changed the brightness/contrast/sharpness on the monitor itself to see if it can be resolved but to no avail. Is there any known solution to this problem, or is my hardware struggling due to the size of my monitor?

i had the same problem today. it was a hotfix with the amd drivers and it messed up arma. i was confused my self on why this was happeneing. just go to the amd website and downgrade your driver. arma 3 works like a charm now that i did that :)

btw i have a amd r9 390

Thank you so much for your reply. I was starting to lose all hope. Do you know where I would be able to locate a previous driver version for a 7900 Graphics card?

Still can't find anything that seems to work. Drivers appear to make no difference :(

You got Vsync enabled?

Have you also uninstalled all previous amd drivers, before re-downloading a new version.

I've enabled and disabled V-Sync and it has no affect on it whatsoever. I've rolled back to the old drivers and have installed the latest drivers but it's still flickering. The driver I have installed at the moment is 16.8.2.

This Youtube video shows the issue: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zWePQOYIEHc

Does this only happen in Arma?

How is your monitor connected to your Gpu?

It's only in ARMA sadly. It's connected via HDMI, but I've tested a DisplayPort with the same problem

Have you tried verifying the game files? Not sure if it will help but worth a shot.

Will do now. I really appreciate the help :)

So it 100% validates the files but continues to do it after finishing in the downloads section. Next to ARMA 3 it now says '0%' while it seemingly validates nothing in the downloads section.

No difference after validating :(

Any mods running?

I launch the game with no mods.

Changing the comparability settings made no difference either.
