ADS Reticle Help Please

I only had a couple hours to play with Arma III prior to update & I had figured out how to change the aim-down-scope so that you could see the scopes reticle rather than the default crosshairs with the scope off in the right corner, trapped in a purgatory between a 3rd person shooter and a first-person shooter. How do I change it to my prefered setup? Pics to further illustrate my situation:

When you aim down your sight, are you holding down the right mouse button, or simply clicking it? Holding it will cause you to zoom.

I hold down the right click button to ADS. I will attempt to merely click it to see if that allows me to see the reticle.
I was easily able to change it prior to the new DLC to my prefered setting of aiming down the scope as long as the right mouse button is pressed. I always eliminate the two-click ADS toggle in first person shooters as it better suits my gameplay style however consistancy can be both an attribute and a liability. ARMA being a bit slower and larger it may be more of a liability. I'll keep looking for an option here in a bit after I take care of something.

I just assigned "Optics Mode" to the "Tab" key.
