Apex ads.....

okay... the new map and the vehicles are really nice, and so are some of the weapons...except the ones that look like rips from arma 2... now having the shift P ad is totally cool but why have such intrusiv ads like the splash screen and the big one in the middle of the screen for weapons.... Im not planing on buying this "DLC" which is over priced imo. when servers allow you to use the guns and vehicles. but are riddled with ads...people who arleady own arma3 shouldnt have to deal with the ads.... when on servers....

whats easier is if it wasn't in the game to begin with. If they are going to put such intrsutive ads.

Also. not everyone has a job where they make enough money to splurg $44 when ever they want. I pay rent and 2 other bills that isn't including my phone or internet(thankfully those 2 are cheap because of Wind and Techsavy) I'm also in collage paying my own way through. and saving for next term. I can't even buy new games that are coming out because they are $70+... If it was $20 I would get it...Id be able to streatch my food out for a week and save $10 to put with another $10 the next week.And devs complain about people pirating...they may as well have released it as a indpendent game... not a DLC...

I don't have any plans on using apex on my own. so why should I have to deal with ads because servers enable it's "assets". I'm not even asking for all the ads to be removed...just the intrustive ones...isnt that easier?If I cant even join servers with the new maps... so whats the point of the ads besides shoving it in you face ever 5mins and making the game basically unplayable....

I wish there was a toggle for DLC content. The way things are now gives the impression theyy're trying a little too hard, like pestering people until they buy the DLC. It's nice I guess that you get to sample the content before buying, but that should be optional.

Personally, I bought Arma 3 and Arma 3 is what I want to play. If and when I want the DLC, I'll be sure to go buy it.

Your more than welcome to just not use the DLC content that people pay for and than your problem is solved. If you dont want adds dont use it. Those ads only pop up if:

- You use DLC weapons/items/uniforms
- You use DLC vehicles

They won't pop up if you have nothing from that on your character and if your character isn't in a DLC vehicle and if you still get them, then the mission maker has done something wrong.

I think some of you are missing the entire point. There's nothing wrong with having ads. The problem comes from some of them being so intrusive they literally, for a brief interval, make the game unplayable. That's a HUGE problem, and not consumer friendly in the slightest. If anything, it only infuriates the player, making them less likely to want to purchase the DLC.

It has nothing to do with being entitled. And to those that claim such are simply arrogant. It's unwarranted to penalize a persons ability to play because they happened to land in a server that allows them to spawn with gear that's part of a DLC. They can't pick up those weapons off the ground, they can't play on the map, they can't operate any vehicles, and yet that's apparently not enough.

The basic "Shift-P" ad is perfectly fine. Blocking out the entire center of my screen is not.

Yes... im entitaled because the ads are intrusive and I don't have the money because I don't make enough money to spend on my self! Im sorry I wasnt born spoon fed. If you need good mods I can help you out I know some mods that make arma 3 look like apex and if you dont belive me just check my screen shots :).

I play on servers that allow the apex dlc items to be bought... can't pick them up after I die. which im fine with... thats the point of a soft release. you can use it all .but you can't interact with it in the world.

This is just LOL... You have the game and got all the content you paid for now you want more paid content for free? No one is forcing you to buy anything. You got what you paid for so whats the problem? Nothing is intrusive at all its your own fault if you use content that people paid.
