Armaholic: http://www.armaholic.com/list.php?c=arma3_files
Or the Steam workshop.

Steam is easiest, you just browse, click subscribe, then make sure the mod is enabled in the mod tab of the Arma 3 launcher.

Armaholic (or other) is still really easy. Download, unzip the folder inside (must start with @, for excample @modname) to your main Arma 3 directory, then enable enable it in the mods tab of the arma 3 launcher.

Simples.

Just a warning on SUBSCRIBE. I have Subscribed it (installed) it through STEAM WORKSHOP and for some reason once they are enabled in game the mods don't show up. Seen more then a few posts on this issue/bug.
Best to go to Armaholic and get the mod. Usually in the description of the subsribe mod here on steam you are looking at it will give you a download link for the mod at Armaholic.
Download the mod-put the mod folder in the ARMA3 game directory. It will show up in the ADDON function and you enbale to install.
Should work that way with SUBSCRIBE-but I install it through STEAM but the mod isn't in the game file. FWIW.

You have 2 main options:

You can download a3launcher or go to Armaholic. They are both free.

I would suggest a3launcher since it will keep your mods up to date and will match mods to servers you are trying to join. A3launcher additionally will automatically place your mods into the Arma 3 folder, skipping extra steps Armaholic makes you do.

If you want mods off Armaholic, first install 7zip. 7zip will help since mods are usually zipped. Then you want to go to your Arma 3 folder and paste the extracted zip file in there. After that, go to the launcher and click mods. Your mod should be there and you should load it to the game. It is simple.

If you have questions, ask.

I have scanned these mods and I so far have not found any viruses. If you leave Armaholic or a3launcher to download mods, you may run into the risk of downloading a virus. Armaholic and a3launcher are trusted third party websites.

Alright thank you, I'll stick to steam until I get an antivirus running.

Get Windows Defender or Malwarebytes. It is free and will help you monitor for viruses. You don't need to be superstitious about downloading mods off of third party websites, they have been used and trusted by hundreds of thousands.

Best of luck
