add respawn option to missions

Hi everyone.

I downloaded a mission from steam workshop for co op online play. It does not have a respawn option. Is there a way I can add some respawn points into the mission? The mission is 'Sabre Commandos Episode 1'.

1. unpack the .pbo
2. edit the description.ext and add

respawn="GROUP";

3. pack that file again into a .pbo
4. host the mission

Thanks for the really fast reply. I'm really sorry but I wouldnt know where to start. Where will I find the .pho, how do i unpack it, how do i edit the .ext. When u say group what does that mean? I'd like to have 1 or more respawn points close to the village we have to take. How would i repack? Please excuse me if im being totally stupid. I'm finding arma so overwhelming and i'm not very good with computers :/

If you could add me as friend and talk me through it or even edit the mission for me and give me a link I would be so very grateful.

unpack a mission that has respawn... copy and paste the spawn points from the map...you`ll also need to take some info from the inf file too

I really thank you so much for trying to help me. I'm also really sorry because I dont know anything about unpacking a mission. I mean i dont even know how to play the game properly.

0. look up in google where to find workshop missions
1. get the toolkit
2. start it and use "BankREV" to unpack the .pbo
3. open the folder and look for a description.ext file
3a. if file not present, open notepad and save the empty file as "description.ext" (with apostrophe, yes - with apostrophe)
4. open it in notepad
5. add the command

respawn="GROUP";

6. open the tools again and use "FileBank" to pack the folder again
7. copy & paste the new .pbo in your MPmissions folder in the arma 3 root folder
8. host it

Edit:
What it does? It allows you to respawn at your group members. But if all are dead - Mission Failed
