30fps lock need help!!!

so about a week ago i was running arma 60fps no problem all off a sudden im capped at 30fps like wtf?!?!

can someone help me find a workaround using nividia control panel i did the same thing to fallout when it capped me but i dont know how to work it with arma?

Try changing on display on Arma Settings to windowed press OK then Changed back again to full screen, if does not work wile playing try pressing Left Alt + Enter to go windowed then press again Left alt + Enter to go back full screen.

it unlocks the frames when im in windowed but when i go back into full its locked again

ok turned off both and now my fps isnt locked anymore but i would like to set it at 60 since im getting 80 now and my monitor only has 60 so why waste the other 20

its off now but i would like to set it at 60 now

i set it to adaptive but it locks me back to 30 any suggestions?

Delete the config. The game will generate a new one.

getting 80 fps even if your monitor is only 60 Hz is god, as it reduces input delay and can lead to smoother performance

For anybody still having this issue which no one seems to know what the hell you or they are talking about. You can fix the vsync 30 fps cap in just a few simple steps. (For Gods Sake!!!) Open your Arma3.cfg with your favorite text editor "C:\Users\Your Name\Documents\Arma 3\Arma3.cfg" Scroll down until you see "refresh=30" and change that to "refresh=60 (or whatever the max refresh rate your monitor supports). Save and exit. Don't fire up your game just yet. There's one more important step. Because Arma3 will change the settings back after launching you'll need to set your Arma3.cfg to "Read Only". To do this simply right click on your Arma3.cfg file and go to "Properties", then down at the bottom simply check the "Read Only" box and click "Apply" then hit "OK". That stops Arma3's executable from editing the file. THAT'S IT!!
