Yeah, I've done it a few times and I can barely fly planes.

Yeh of course, just glide like an angel

It's do-able, but it's a little tough. It's a LOT easier if you use a joystick.

Landing with a plane is not a problem. You just need to make the right approach. That is the hardest part. I mainly use a controller but even with a keyboard it is not that hard.

Yes I can and it's what I only do.

Keyboard is a bit annoying considering the damage model can be sensitive while not using the AFM(though it is still finnicky at times), but if you use a throttle it is easy as pie. If you Want to learn then just watch videos and practice, plenty of great flyers out there using keyboard and mouse even with the SFM.

Easy, once you have done it the first time it's like riding a bike

I use KB/M for SFM. KB for hard banks/turns/throttle/weapon switch/targetting/etc, mouse for percision/aiming.

some of the planes like the ac-130 are hard to find a large enough place to land but it's doable.

Whoops I'm such an idiot, read auto land as auto hover. Glossed over the correction, my bad(My previous post makes no sense anymore).

It is pretty darn easy quite honestly, like above it is all about just hitting the glideslope. If I last recall the pipper on the HUD actually does calculate the projected position based on your current pitch/airspeed(in which case it is all a matter of keeping the pip on the end of the runway nearest you).
