You see the pad on the side with all the math buttons and stuff? You see the big + button and the smaller - button above it on the far right side?
When you're using a scope that has multiple zoom levels (MOS, DMS, AMS, Kahlia, LRPS, TWS, TWS MG, Nightstalker), you use the bigger + button to zoom in, and the smaller - button to zoom out. There are only 2 levels of zoom on all default scopes with the exception of the Nightstalker, as it has variable zoom, like Binoculars, Rangefinders and Laser Designators.
If you don't have those buttons on your keyboard, either you bought a compact keyboard, or are using a non-gaming laptop to play Arma 3, and will need to change the default controls to help you play.
Look under option, controlle, tab view ; zoom in / zoom out (default key numpad + and - )
I do a awful lot of kuma shooting in Arma3 with the big button + or - to be sure its a enemy target before I send a round.
That does not prevent the teammate from stealing that particular enemy model vehicle and driving off in it. And then wonder why they are killed in it. Thats partly the fault of the devs for failing to ensure that I understand its occupied by friends and also partly their own fault for stealing the vehicle and then failing to inform teammates in chat that they own the thing.
All these wars in the last 30 years and its a miracle we did not kill a million.
The view drop down does indeed have the zoom in/out. F'ing stupid it's not at least mirrored under weapons but thanks for the heads up.
And what level to unlock the diesel donkey?
