1. Shoot weak spots of the Heli, best would be the tail rotor - on distance, 7.62 should to the job better than smaller rounds. Inexperienced pilots would now struggle to keet the heli in the air.
2. Shoot the crew. If already being attacked, the gunners are the first priotity, then the pilot. I'd recommend 7.62 here again, due to the windshield. But if you're the one shooting first, go fir the Pilot first. If the windshield cracks, he might try to evacuate first and come back later, giving you soem time to hide or prepare the second attack.
Also, if being equipped with an AMR (Lynx APDS) and you're in need to shoot down a Pawnee or hummingbord, aim for the engine or the windshield. One proper hit should do the job.
