Help for: bin\config.bin/CfgWeapons/ItemInfo.scope

I have no idea how I got this or how to fix this, i've looked it up but to a avail, I had no idea what they meant. Can we dumb this down for me? I need this fixed

What solutions have you tried already (if any)? When does this error occur? Upon joining any multiplayer game? Just single player? Both? Upon startup?

As long as the game is still playable, you can await a new update to see if the error gets patched.

I haven't tried anything (mostly due to my little knowledge on modding ARMA) and it happens upon startup

Let's try a couple quick things to see if we can isolate this...

1: Start Arma 3 'Unmodded' by clicking the little drop-down arrow on the right side of the big orange (or yellow if you're a heathen) play button in the launcher, then clicking 'Play without mods'.

If no progress, do a simple integrity cache verification through Steam. Take a look at this to do so.

Lastly, what mods do you play with if any?

Started Arma 3, no error. Verified cache just in case, nothing.

Well, according to the error itself, being 'bin/config.bin/CfgWeapons/ItemInfo.scope', you can disable the mods such as 'NATO_Rus_Weapons', 'CUP Weapons ACE Comp', 'IFA3LITE' (might be the one), etc. and start up to see which gives you the error to (again) isolate where it is originating from.

No problem. It's 1:46 AM here.

Once you do isolate it, attempt to re-install the mod. If the error still exists, be sure to report the error to the mod author so they can get it fixed.

Ok yeah I finally found the problems it was NATO_Rus_Weapons and IFA3LITE

So now i'm getting another error, this one is caused by 2 mods that I can't play without. CUP and RHS. Whenever I start the game I get an error, you know a fix?

The only type of patch-job I can think of would be that as long as the game is still playable, you'll need to somehow turn off these error notifications. Probably through the configuration, or even another mod that can achieve this.

Otherwise, I'm not aware of any type of fix other than having the mod authors look at it. I use CUP every so often as well and I get no error, so it may just be a local problem you're having. Or I just may be completely 100% flat-a$$ wrong.

i am getting same error but bin/config.bin/cfgvehicles/vtx_DAP_MLASS.scope, also getting US_ARMY_faction_D has no key but i dont have any mods anymore and have uninstalled and reinstalled numerous times

Why do you care? You can just press "ok" and play game anyway
