Arma 3: Left Shift locking up!

So that you know:

- This only happens in Arma 3.
- I've changed my keyboard.
- I've searched the interweb.

I'm running windows 10, 16GB ram, Intel I7, and 1TB SSD and 1060 4GB card on a 42inch 4k screen.

So what is happening is that my zoom gets locked up. My movement locks up and I'm pretty much crippled in game thus forcing a restart.

Anyone with any information on how to solve or reduce this problem would be doing me a great service!

Not going to happen mate. It's not like i can capture a control lockup. It's happened a few times today though while I was checking the map... Running across a field while under fire and a few other random times.

It's like when you press the alt or double tap it and your view gets locked up and you're having to smash the Alt key again. (BTW That function with the ALT key has been removed) Well Imagine that with the Shift key without that double tap function existing.

Ive had this issue before. The way around it i figures was to verify the integrity of game files (for some reason that always helps) and then reinstall your game if it persists.

Idk about any other ways, but thats all that really done it for me.
It was worse for me, I used to fly alot and being in a helicopter and this happening was so annoying.

So what EXACTLY is your character doing when this lockup occurs. The purpose of the pic was to see what the character was doing. This sounds like a game feature not a bug. No one is going to help you if you can not provide the information asked for. You can just sit here crying about it or post what was asked for MATE. That is up to you. I would check the controls under weapons or view for your answer as a lot of control features use a double tap of a key.

Left Shift is bound to Run/Walk(Toggle)
As you can see NO problems are detected with that key bind in Arma.

As you can see I’m using a mouse with 12 buttons on the side.

Button 1 is bound to Right Alt. This allows me to use my thumb to look around while moving forward. However, I discovered by combining Alt + Q or E I was given the ability to steer while running and looking around.

Button 2 switches to pistol

Button 4 and 7 are bound to NumPad + and -. This allows me to manually zoom in and out without that annoying auto zoom feature.

Button 3 is bound to NumPad / This allows me to toggle the weapon scope.
Button 6 is bound to NumPad 0 This toggles the gun sight for such events as sniping.

After the reinstall off your game ,, have you rebind your keys olso 3 times or after reinstall your profile is still there.

Yes. Other otherwise I'd be going crazy with default controls like auto zoom and Alt lockups.

Ok ,,, but than whas a reinstall off your game not needed.
I think you will not have the luck but you sell rebind new way your keybinds.
Do a little test, place your profile on a save place (usb or 2e hard drive) and start arma so it can greate a new profile and test/play whit key binds,,,,i have a strong feeling thats one or more keys are dubble bind in your keybind list.

PS: if som key s dubble bind its shows your key in red color.
