Banned from all official servers?! For what?!?

I was apparently banned a few months ago for "wlbslur" or something, i don't know what i did but i didn't cheat or tk or do crap like that, i think it was because i got really pissed and popped off against someone and said some bad stuff; if thats what it was then yeah it was stupid and i'm not gonna do it again but being perma banned??!?! thats overkill man
it's specifically from all official servers, it's not a global battle-eye ban, warlords is pretty much all i played because non of my friends play anymore and i can't even have that
anymore

i really miss warlords and i just wanna chill on there, if any admin can fix help then it appreciate it because this feels really unfair and i already learned my lesson :(

a temp ban? sure
a permanent ban? that's so excessive and disproportional
If people are really upset by someones choice of pixel arrangement then they can mute them, that's what that feature is for

I'll hapilly permanently ban anyone using homophobic, bigoted, racist terms etc, even if its "just bantz" or "spicy" in the areas I moderate.

sorry op, you probably won't be able to appeal it either. BI has been really good at going on some power trip to perma ban people for saying mean words on the internet on a rated M game, while also not telling any of the community about these changes (people only initially found out about this after suddenly getting banned, i still remember all the threads about it)
i've lost a few good friends/daily players from official servers when this initially started to be a "thing" since they retroactively banned people for it.


on the bright side, getting banned from official servers isn't really THAT bad, it's unfortunate - but any good (key word: actually good) milsim/semi milsim unit will probably give you a much better time with the game anyway.

it really is a shame that people have to devolve to suppressing speech but here we are. i would say i can't wait until we get to the point where we start banning stuff that is only subjectively bad on a case-by-case basis, but we're already there as far as I'm concerned.

@sharpas well thousands of succesfull lawsuits agianst power tripping cops would disagree. in america, freedom of speech is very much a thing.

nah, theyre fairly busy and no hideousness (for long) thanks!

but think about how angry you've got and look at your reply, is it any wonder you find yourself sanctioned?

don't expect private spaces, be they games or forums to tolerate any kind of "bad" speech, be it text or otherwise. your "free speech" rights don't apply.

it might not mean anything to you but it does to others.

you could, if you wanted, set up your own server or forum and set your own rules but be prepared for what comes with that.

me? I'll play on official servers if I feel like. As I can, because I'm not banned.
