New PC, how do i transfer profile info for KOTH ect?
I have my ARMA 3 and ARMA 3 profiles on my new pc in a folder on my desk top which I had taken from my documents fold on my old PC. I haven't opened ARMA yet because i want to make sure my profiles are transfered over correctly. Do i first start ARMA and let it set up profiles then replace those files with my files from my old PC, do i put my old files into documents first? or does it just not really matter. Dont assume I know much of anything if you decide to help me. thanks to anyone who takes the time to help.

Step by step of what ya have to do:
Copy the old Arma 3 and Arma 3 Other profiles folder and save it.
Put it on ya new pc. ( which you did ).
Goto your new pc's documents folder, and drop them in.
Start arma and go to the top right.
Click on the little person icon and see if your name is there + the character.
Go into a KOTH server ( not the 10x xp ones as ya will get a ♥♥♥♥ up ya ass ).
Have your Levels/money.
Profit $$$.

I also suggest watchin this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pEuLvipCf1M It shows you how to prevent rookie mistakes.

Also, i honestly do suggest you first backup your profile to like google drive, just to be sure. You never know what can happen with arma 3, so it might be you move it to your new pc and arma 3 just replaces it or somethin, better safe then sorry.

Good luck.

Ok so on my old pc I had two profiles. The one you automatically get when you opon ARMA, this one you cant delete. I had another one i created for milsims.
I transfer over my folders from the old PC to the new PC. In the folder called ARMA 3 I have the files from my original PC with the user name michael in it. in the fold called ARMA 3 other profiles I have the info for my milsim profile called Pvt.M.Becker.
When I open up arma I have a profile that cant be deleted called michaeldesktop and my milsim profile. I close arma 3 and go to me documents folder. inside the ARMA 3 folder I now have all the files i tranfered over but also new files with the user name michaeldestop.

Here is me saying I transferred the folders
“I transfer over my folders from the old PC to the new PC”.
here is me saying I launched ARMA but it wasn’t as strait forward as everyone has told me “When I open arms up I have a profile that can be deleted called michaeldesktop and my milsim profile. I close arma 3 and go to my documents folder. Inside the ARMA 3 folder I now have ALL THE FILES I TRANSFERED OVER but also new files with the user name michaeldesktop”.
So you can see I stated I transfered the files to my new pc, put them into my documents fold, tried to open arma but the profiles weren’t available to play. I checked again checked the folders I put into documents and found that all those files were still there but ARMA had created new profiles.

It happens. Any ideas why it creates new profiles instead of retrieving my old ones I transferred into my documents folder?

copy both folders in this place, I have arma 3 and arma 3 other profiles. I just email these to myself everytime I reach another 10 level

C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\Documents\Arma 3
