Problems with LAN games using hamachi

I use hamachi to play LAN games with my friends.

But some friends can't participate in my LAN game.
My LAN game is displayed in my friend's server browser.
After joining, stack with receiving data.

Does Hamachi need open ports, too?
it has been decades since I used it...

Can't you run it normally over the internet, but with a password?
Then it's somewhat private.

My contracted provider can't open the port.
So I haven't opened the port.

If your provider cannot open ports then neither can Hamachi automatically.

You’ll probably have to rent a real server in a Data Centre that you can both see and PING, etc.

Hamachi is a risk to your PC Security. Better port forward or rent a server
