Carpe Noctem root tips

Cannot find any more root tips besides the first one in the town. I've followed the map to dead ends even failing the mission following the map out of the mission area. where the hell are they?

The second one is hard southeast of the first one, quite easy for me to find. There's an alien entity on the spot you can use your EMSPEC device to locate it that way

How to make the alien leave ? It keep defending the root ...

Try talking to it with Tckaikovsky, it's like a mini game, you'll see the emspec spikes on the screen

Any channel works i think. I just broadcasted noise on the frequencies

I played the mission only very briefly and found nothing so far.
Do I just follow the active areas as they're revealed and run into roots visibly sticking out?
And Eddie is just hanging on the back useless, despite the briefing telling me to use it for searching?

You get radio updates and enter a danger zone when you're near one. They wer very easy for me tyo find, EDDIE works on your back still, you only need him to take the samples, you can carry him around on your pack the rest of the time.

The obvious places are wherre they are. It's not a massive puzzle, its very linear if you just go straight the awy you came from and follow the map points of interest.

edit: also follow ufo signals! (frequency 431 or whatever)

Hard south east. It has a ufo above it - its in a small town on a road

for the life of me i can't aim eddie at an angle good enough to get the second root sample; any tips?

Theres a spot a little down the root where you can pinch it, its a small little edge towards the south, eddie can easily reach that.
