Recruit AI in KP Liberation

Hello, I've been playing the KP Liberation (Altis map), but everytime I restart the game I can't join the team my AI are. Even if I select 1-1 Commander in the Lobby, I'm always back into 2-1 or some other squad while my AIs are in 1-1, and I can't find any way to either join their squad or have them join mine. The only solution I have right now is to kill them and buy some new AI everytime... Is there a better way?

In case anyone was also trying to do that, I finally found a way:
- Press 'Y' to enter Zeus mode.
- Above each team leader (including the player's team), a box will appear.
- Hold CTRL, click on the AI's team box and drag it onto the player's box.
