So much for them supporting ACRE in any way shape or form I guess.

In my opinion, ACRE is superior but the less used alternative (because it's not a casual piece of bollocks like TFAR, and people these days hate it when they need to give more than two minutes of effort)
Yeah I had no idea what it did either until I kind of figured it was related to team speak or similar comm. service.
It was about time we made the wider community aware of those improvements to gameplay.

i bought the CDLC to play it... not to be in need of a mod AND a some external program for everything in the CDLC to work.
That's exactly what I thought. Last night I played on the Mike Force servers and it was no longer required. In fact initially I was not able to get into the server because I had the mods loaded. So hopefully they've made up their mind and TFAR is no longer required.
