My character is constantly shouting when grouped to other players...
When ever I'm in a group my character is constantly shouting out everything he sees withing a 1 km radius.
It destroys immersion when my character repeatedly tells my friend to regroup for no reason whatsoever.

Is there a way to completely disable this?
Cheers

enableSentences false;

Cheers everyone :-)

when your char is reporting the spots you will see the sight on your map to have an overview. it is a "game mechanism".

BUT !

if you tell your group mates to hold fire, they didnt open fire (command menu), and you where able to sneak the enemy. if you play SP with AI its most importand to use the command's.

most importand commands where:

Stop!

Hold Fire !

Regroup!

get in that vehicle!

disimbarc !

Copy my stance!

Stay low!

Hit the dirt !

etc.

you have to learn the commands and how it affect the gameplay with AI bro.

maybe try it out in the editor with an group of AI.

Once you get it you will enjoy an very immersive gameplay (even more than in MP-> cos AI does not troll you).

Thanks for the response gAmER :-)

I already enjoy the game very much and I understand all the commands.
I just wish I could stop my character from shouting all the time when I should be the one talking via my microphone lol

If you set combat pace to stealth, your Character will whisper everything instead, instead of yelling. So you still get enemy locations marked on your map, but can also hear yourself think.

I don't want my character to point out enemies that I haven't seen yet...
I want my character to say nothing at all (like when playing alone ungrouped)
Then I can call out the enemies with my microphone :-)

Odds are, you wont see them. Even if you have thermal NVGs, there's always that one Viper ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ with an accuracy of 200%.

There is an option in the difficulty settings called 'Automatic Reporting' which should fix it...
But the players character still occasionally calls out random empty vehicles, civilians and other irrelevant things on the map.

Hmm... i think there is a tutorial for commanding a squad and such...it should be in the VR training somewhere

if you use the ACE mod its mute the teamleader.

BUT !

Some aspect of ACE is annoying to use into SP szenarios. and once you made a mission with ace, you have to load it allways (i mean the mod) to play the mission.

Why does your character give orders without you initiating it in some missions?
Valen Jul 31, 2022 @ 12:26pm
Could be scripted to occur when reaching some triggerpoint. Depends on what he says or commands.
Reticuli Jul 31, 2022 @ 5:10pm
It almost seems like random junk, though. Like random directions and orders. I noticed it even in Dynamic Recon Ops stuff, which I don't think is pre-scripted to do anything.
