this is also an issue with the launcher server browser....but closing and opening it does not seem to resolve it.
he said, and i confirm, sometimes, it works just fine throwing up hundreds of servers, sometimes just a handful. and why would anybody want 300+ ping servers?
@sgtsmash you might be right, at least my router is a piece of junk thank came with the ISP...i do have a few nice routers laying about so ill try that and report back.
I've had 3 routers in the last few years, and all of them have had the same problem. The ping setting has fixed them all.
Sttings -> Downloads -> Limit Bandwidth
Mine is set to 10 MB/s, works great. I bet it works on higher also
I'm not quite sure what causes this issue, but I know refreshing the server list shuts off the internet entierly. Just watch out for that.
This is caused by the modem, and although I can't tell exactly the problem, it seems like it only happens when my PC is connected to my modem via cable, if it's just connected wirelessly, it seems to work fine (for me).
Set your pings/minute to a lower value and see if your internet stays alive.
