Friend cant see my server in LAN list using Evolve
we used to do this all the time without any problems and now he cant see my server, i cant invite him to it because there is no invite option in the steam overlay, and he cant direct connect with the evolve IP not sure what the problem is

click on his name and there is a join game option for him or an invite. Lan is for the family group server, not online.

Evolve is an app that allows us to use LAN without having to port forward. Just for some reason all the sudden i cant invite him to my servers and he cant see them, it used to work just fine a few months ago.

Evolve is dead as far as I know.

Shut down due to money problems or something.

They relaunched. Some random investor decided to keep them open.

Jesus, and here I uninstalled and removed Evolve because it didn't work and then read it's dead.

Using ♥♥♥♥♥♥, ad-riddled Tunggle now. Time to try and switch back, then.

whats odd to me is what could be causing steam/arma to not even show the invite option. i thought maybe switching from 64 bit to 32 might work but nothing. i even tried turning battle eye off.

Nope. I'm assuming its caused from my ISP swapping me to an all in one router/modem combo. I just kinda gave up.

Buy your own router, ISP routers are garbage. Also, both of you running the same version OS, fully updated?
Conversely, enter your Router IP in a web browser and make sure you are set up properly from there. Google a guide for that specific router if you don't know what you are doing.

There is always Hamachi.

Direct connect with IP and wait until it pops up. If not rejoin the party.

I'm very much aware of this, but its not really high on my list of concerns. The only issue I've run into was with this game, and customer service is just way to ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ annoying for me to deal with.

Edit: also pretty sure we tried going through evolve, which is basically the same concept as Hamachi with no luck either.
