20 FPS IN GAME!!!! What to do????

Hello can somone help and tell me why in arma 3 i have 20-40fps i cant play normal!!!
I have GTX 960
8GB RAM
AMD-FX6300
AND I CANT PLAY IT ON 60
MY GEARFORCE EXPERIENCE TRY OPTIMIZE IT AND I JOIN SOME SERVER AND HAVE ONLY!!1!!!!! 20-40FPS PISSSING ME OFFF

Tis what happens when you buy a ♥♥♥♥ CPU.
On a side note, if you can, play singleplayer, it's optimized much better and while you're at it, decrease the shadow render distance to the absolute minimum.

AMD sucks, thats why, and your graphica card is a bit outdated. Hell I have a 1070 and an i7 7700 and I can only run ultra at 40-60

A GTX 960 is not that outdated. It's all about CPU anyways in ArmA.

In anycase, OP, you should try lowering your shadows, shadows distance, viewing distance, terrain & object details, and put sampling to 100%. Then if you STILL don't have good FPS then try good o'l config editing. Just google "Arma 3 Config" for better understanding on editing your config.

try playing at a higher resolution or overclock the CPU...dont mess w/the Vcore and ur fine

Yeah your CPU is the problem. I used to have an FX series and they just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ suck in terms of power per core and ArmA tanks CPU's. My suggestion would be to get a Ryzen CPU. I have the 1700X and I have never dropped below 50FPS since getting it!

Arma 3 isn't a GPU intense game, it's all at the RAM and CPU.

Your cpu sucks. Lmao that's why I stay away from amd. I was running Mp 40 to 60 fps on medium/high with a gtx 950 and Intel I3 3.8ghz. Now ive upgraded my cpu and gpu. Asus Stryx Gtx 1060 6gb and Intel I7 3.6ghz and it runs on high 60 fps consistently.

Nah card is fine. It's the CPU.

GTX 960 is enough for gaming at 1080p if u don't care about max settings. I run arma 3 with my i5-4460. With arma 3 recommended cpu. And i get in multiplayer where is a huge battle around 30 fps. Single player 60 fps. When i host coop server i get 50 fps so i guess u should change your cpu to intel.

Was on amd before and now I got intel, never going back. By a cpu that does not suck!

yeah but i'm saying on the newest titles it can go high/medium
