Lel you didnt get what they ment by stealing.
Its not stealing the idea of an AT-AT. Its stealing the work involved to create it for this game.
So say you drop 1000hours making each stormtrooper model in blender. Then i get hold of it and upload it with a map i made and say its mine. Would you not be slightly pissed that i didnt credit your work?
Not saying they have done that but you get the idea right?
As far as I am concerned This is the only Star wars mod out there. I could care less about BHI claims of poached assets. The only thing that matters to me is that, after all this time of waiting, we have a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Star Wars mod that actually has content bursting out at the seams. At this point BHI DMCA'ing the ONLY STAR WARS MOD out there for ARMA 3 just looks scummy to the community at large, who have been waiting for a long time for such a mod to come out.
Scummy to the community at large? While I'd like to have Star Wars: Opposition on the workshop as much as anyone else, it's absolutely scummy to use stolen assets. These are things people put countless hours into and it's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ when someone steals them and uses them without permission.
Think of it this way:
You go to work and do an excellent job, but another employee steals the work that you put hours into and gets praise and a promotion because of it. Is that fair?
Also, there is currently no evidence that the DMCA was filed by BHI.
The sad thing is that hes right, and not too long ago I warned of this on steam forums... and woop de doo here it is. thats why they need to go to things like a3launcher or on their own website, before they get ♥♥♥♥♥♥ by an even bigger company then there are no more mods ever
