long bleedout? how to turn that off in single player?
So I play mostly offline and create scenarios or play in SP scenarios I downloaded.
In the past when my person was killed it would die quickly and I could become another unit
etc., now, I get this bleedout for over 300 seconds and I can do nothing but wait until that is over
in any scenario I create or even play offline someone elses scenario. I went in to attributes
to change the setting to the shortest possible bleedout but nothing I do changes the long 300 plus second bleedout so its basically ruined the scenarios. Is this a new enhancement to the game or a version change? Is there any way to go back to the old way of having your unti die quickly?

PS I launched the game without mods and when the unit is killed in that basic game with no MODS the long bleedout does not happen, the guy just goes down and one can switch to another unit, etc., so it must have come from a mod, hopefully it was not something added to the game maliciously to ruin it for players, with the bleedout the player cannot treat himself, change a magazine, do anything other than wait over 300 seconds, in fact you cannot even be killed by adversaries, your are invincible for the entire time it takes to run down to zero. Ridiculous.

Arma 3 vanilla does feature the Revive system[community.bistudio.com] but it is disabled by default unless you enable it in the Editor, So unless you're running a custom scenario/mission that features a bleeding out system, then it is absolutely the fault of any "realism" mods that you've subscribed to.

Double check to make sure you aren't running any. If all else fails, verify the integrity of your game files.

OK, thanks, I was afraid of that, not sure if I have any "realism" mods but the bleedout for over 5 minutes is now in every scenario I play online or offline, if the unit is shot it goes to this 5 minute bleed out period where you can do nothing, literally, and its not realistic because during that period you cannot be killed, there is no way out of it. I may need to reinstall the whole game because it is unplayable now. Question: how does one verify the integrity of their game files?
Wondering if this is malicious code or something...may just go back to DLC and mods from
Bohemia only on re-install.

Right-click on Arma 3 in your Library and select 'Properties'. Then in the tab titled 'Local Files', select the last option: VERIFY INTEGRITY OF GAME FILES.

Should that not work and you can't identify the mod that's responsible, a full re-install might be required. I'd suggest trying everything else first before resorting to that though.
