Low FPS, Low GPU/CPU usage

Hello,

i bought myself a new GPU (GTX 1070). Now i only reach ~30fps with high/very high settings in ARMA 3. With my old 780 i reached about 50+ fps.

Used Nvidia "optimal settings" already, even used lower settings. Any idea how to get a better fps, cause -30 with this setup is terrible!? I saw test videos with this setup reaching 100+fps.
My hardware isn´t even under full load, always below 70% of usage. Anyway of "unlocking" the full potential?

RAM: 6/16GB

Bohemia said '' all upcoming projects will use the same engine thats used in dayz'' so arma 4 wont run like ♥♥♥♥ but it will be releaswd after year 2018

you know when DICE ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up the beggining of bf3 they didnt say ♥♥♥ it we will fix it on the next game -_- , but bohima is not even trying to fix it , its been like this for years and now they are just going to abandon it , why am i not suprised -_-

Single player or multi? Whats your cpu?

I'm running Arma 3 on a i5 4670 3.4 GHz with a gtx760 2GB and the results are pleasent enough. You've got a 1070 and I'm guessing a i7 of some description and you're only getting 30fps? Something isn't right at your end unless you are playing on some poorly setup server.

Man I wish I had your 1070.

It's been my experience that the servers people go to cause the lag issues. It could be the amount of addons being run as well, I would think running too many addons might cause a franerate issue. Even the server that I pay for will "hitch" but there are some frame rate drops but barely noticable. Adjust the settings for Arma yourself and not using the Nvidia software crap , I delete it everytime I update my graphics driver.

it just amazes me that people defend them so adamently , now after years and they are deciding to fix perfomance , how can you even stand for that ?

Man I wish I had your 1070.

I´m using an i7 4770k atm. I noticed that i mainly get those insane fps drops when it comes to script and AI. Seems like this game is just very poorly optimized. Setup of my pc works great overall (Battlefield 1 Ultra, GTA V 4k,.. :D ).
Guess i have to live with the Arma featured lag.

You can't fix 1.5 deacade old engine's ♥♥♥♥♥♥ performance... only way to fix it is to completely switch it, which is not going to happen until arma 4, which is over 2 years from now.

so even if they knew their engine was not up to par , they still continued tomake arma 3 , bad decision , and they make more dlc over the years when they could have been working on perfomance and the engine , that makes sense to you ? , you are justifying it and saying we should wait till arma 4 , what kind of a person does business like that ? and do you really think most of the gamer will even care to wait or to believe they will change when they have been doing this for more than a decade ? wow the ignorance

Just uninstalled this ♥♥♥♥♥ game again.
There is no fixing this FPS issue. It's one of the greatest FPS issues of ALL time.
But not hardly a peep from Bohemia about a method to fix it.
An yea the fan boys will come on an spew the same garbage they were saying since Alpha.
"It's alpha" well now its past 2 DLC's and it still runs like ass so what's your excuse now?

If a 600 series can run this at same fps as a 1080, i don't think there's much need for a good expensive gpu if you are mainly going to play arma 3.
