Arma 3 Engine Update/Improvement
I am pretty sure we wont get a 4th Arma but i read more and more comments where ppl asked for A4, to be honest, Arma 3 is in every case good and dont need a improvement in terms of a 4th part except one, the naval assets, the not existent navy.

So why we dont ask for a engine improvement/update for Arma 3 in terms of maximum vehicle size?
Wich would mean that BIS dont make A4 (wich is a huge couple of work) but take their power into a engine update/improvement wich allows to create 350m long and wide vehicles wich is currently limited on 50m long and wide vehicles, wich is a joke, even WW2 torpedo boats are over 50-100m long, so any naval assets are currently impossible.

I am not a specialist in terms of engines and how video games work but i think BIS could improve Arma 3 in terms of vehicle size to get in the future mods or even updates from BIS wich make their destroyer and carrier pilotable.
I think Arma 4 would just be a waste of time and power of BIS wich would mean again no bigger naval assets than a boat in vanilla, wich would really sucks, since A2 we have in the community of Arma a couple of player wich want also fight on the seas around the islands of the armaverse but cant because BIS ignore them constantly.

What do you mean, is a engine update/improvement a better choice to keep this game alive or not?

I'm pretty sure we will, Why? Because they already said they are laying down the ground work for the next Arma with the enfusion engine, Pretty much the only reason they invested in a new engine in the first place!

But going off the new engine don't expect any vehicle type to perform better than A3 does atm.

The infusion engine isnt really better than the current A3 engine (if we belive some players of DayZ), and the other thing is why should they make a 4th Arma?
They moved their eyes over to survival games like Vygor or the mighty DayZ so why should they do a 4th Arma, even Arma 3 was a huge couple of work for them, i mean we have uboats and full detailed underwater worlds but nothing to fight in it, looks like they stopped their work on navy assets for A3 and implemented just what currently back in this days worked, and many A3 player even dont buy their DLCs (wich is good understandable) wich means they didnt get that much money like for the A2 DLCs, so why should they if they didnt get the money wich they would need to make a 4th Arma?

In fact, many players have bought them. Just in 2019 ( the year of GM and Contact) alone they sold 1.9 million Arma3 DLCs. This pretty impressive for a game with only 5.5 million owners.

Exactly Sams, which is exactly why we won't be getting Arma 4 ANY time soon. This company is disgusting and literally only cares about money - just look at how they handled Day Z standalone lmao. Says a lot about them as a company. That could've easily been the situation for Arma 3, we just got lucky. We won't be getting Arma 4 until Arma 3 is properly milked dry, which clearly it isn't.

I dunno man. If they only cared about money I doubt they would have paid for 8 years of development of one game, and would probably make less free content for Arma 3, and more than 9 paid DLCs in 7 years.

Sure they would Sams, it leads to more money! And money is good! Yay money! Buy more optional DLC's! Buy Day Z! Hahahahaha!

That's sort of how commercial companies work though; produce something, then sell it to fund the next thing to produce.

Want money for improvement = good
Want money for assets wich arent on the wishlist of the community = bad

Some DLCs are good, the Jets and Tanks DLC for exsample but DLCs like Contact are cheap money maker, they changed the physix to implement flying cars, so why is it so hard to implement vehicles wich are more than 50m big?!
