in-game FPS counter ?
hi, is there a FPS counter ?

how to ?

That is a feature that is built into Steam itself now. go Steam, Settings, In-Game. then in the middle left should be an option that says "in-game FPS counter, and you just select if you want it off, or what position of the screen, and if you want hi-contrast color. done. should work with all steam games.

the FPS display is pretty small, which I like. that means its unobtrusive enough that it doesnt really interfere with game UI, and its not distracting...so I just leave it on always.

edit: just noticed you are on Linux. I'd assume it has this feature, but if not, im sorry.

damn i needed a big FPS counter like 30x20 coz i play on a 320x200 CRT, with an AMIGA emulator........ ;p
