Arma 3

If you use Integrated Graphics, make sure you have 8 GB RAM
It takes Ram to run integrated graphics cards. In my case, with the Intel HD Graphics 4400, I use a little over 1.7 GB of Ram just to display the game. Then it takes another 2 GB just to keep the laptop on and run windows and all necessary processes to play the game. So thats 3.7 GB used without calculating in Arma 3. The Intel HD 5500 uses almost 3 GB. If Arma 3 can use 2 GB, plus more with mods being used, then the reason people can't play the game without lag at 20 fps is because they don't have the necessary Ram for what they are trying to do.

Take it from me. I went from 4 GB of Ram and lagging everytime I see an enemy or aim down the sights, with an occasional lag while I was at spawn, all while at 20-25 fps to 8 GB of Ram, smooth gameplay without fps drops to 10fps when action occurs on the server, and the game runs really good at the same fps. Its nice to play an entire round or two of Arma 3 on King of the Hill and revive 10 teamates with the medic perk and then use your silenced 6.5mm assault rifle in "the sh!t".

So its up to you if you want to invest less than 100 dollars on 8 GB of ram, watch a youtube video on how to take apart your computer, and then pop the ram chips in the slots. It doesn't require a college degree to add ram. Just get the same kind of ram your computer has now but just more GB's.

Good to know
A better idea: Use that 100 bucks to buy a real graphics card. Better FPS and you wont need to buy more RAM.

And "without lag" and "20 FPS" shouldn't be in a sentence together. At least not the way you used them...
