Soundmods: Which do you prefer?
There are different soundmods for Arma 3. They can provide with only changing the sound, a complet different experience. What are your feelings about those soundmods?
Just here my opinions to some sounds/mods.

Vanilla Sound:

I guess there is nothing big to tell about the vanilla sounds, everybody knows it. Sometimes when i play on official Warlords server complete vanilla, i still have the feeling that the sounds are for that "old" game well done and makes the game a joy.

DynaSound 2:

Does as far i know only affect weapon/explosion sounds. Enviroment, engine sounds etc remains the same. There i like the sound of explosions, sonicracks, heavy weapons (30mm up to 120/125/155mm). Also sounds/battles on bigger distances sounds very nice. But all other weaponsounds are in my opinion a bit borring. a 50cal sniper sounds the same like a 5.56 rifle. But maybe it is or it looks like, the devs stopped working or updating on this soundmod. Idk.

JSRS:

JSRS changes eeeveeeryyyythiiiiing, all sounds in game. The sounds are very nice with enorm high quality and it only sounds beatiful. I would say it is also in the most parts the most realistic sound that i ever heard in a game. Also Lord Jarhead (devloper) tries allways to keep the sound up to date and reacts to the feedbacks from the comunity. It was for me allways like, when i started Arma 3 and i saw that "JSRS Soundmod is updating" like second christmas or whatever xD.
Well sometimes after an update it was "hell ♥♥♥♥ yeah, so nice" or "oooh no, what is this now?" But well, we all have different tastes.
Only thing i don't like so much is, that some explosions or heavy weapons, battles on bigger distances (1000-2000m) lose their punch in the sound. Or in other words: it's sometimes to silent.

Sig Sound A3:

A soundmod that putts not the finger on realistic sound rather this mods goal is to provide more "action" sounds, like we all maybe remember on older FPS games. First when i tested it, it was a bit strange, how everythings sounds (firing the MX feels like you fire a Beowolfe rifle). Sig Sound A3 has its own stile and i like it very much. It still gives some realistic battlefield enviroment feelings with some realy nice and heavy impact sounds and still feets good with his "action" sounds in the Arma 3 gameplay. It is like a mix of realistic sounds and "hollywood action sounds".
I guess this Sig Sound A3 is one of the "powerfullst" soundmod. I didn't find an other soundmod where you heare for exampel in Warlords, the enemy fighting in an other sector (2000-3000m away) and you hear the thunder of the heavy weapons and explosions that gives you the feeling: ♥♥♥♥♥♥ sounds like hell over there, we need to hurry up".

So short: each Soundmod has something. I prefer JSRS and Sig Sound A3. So now, how about you guys?

So I gave Sig a run. I do like it. I think the little sounds are very good, the reload and the uniform and gear rattling, the water footsteps, other surprises.
