how to fix corrupted mods?

so im kind on new to mods and one of them has been corrupted...how do i fix this?

Unsubscribe to it and resubscribe, or open the arma launcher and right click the mod (should show a red square next to the mod if it’s broken) and click repair

how do i prevent corruped files in the future?

I don’t every really get corrupt mods, only things I can think of is keep a stable connection to the internet. Don’t move mod files around or let windows delete files to save storage.
