and fun sure isnt having no life and pretending to be a real soldier and take everything so serious about that, you wanna be a soldier? go to the army recruiter
Our games consist typically of between 20-30 players depending on the event. (Our largest events are Wednesday, Friday and Saturday Nights).
We don't have any Milsim garbage - No recruitment process, no forms to fill out or red tape, no bootcamp, no ranks or any of that nonsense. All you have to do is download our mods and join the server.
If you're looking for immersive large-scale military missions with lots of players and exciting gameplay. Look no further.
If that is something that might interest you check out this and add me on steam and we can get you into a game.

Here is an example of a mission we did recently to give you a small taste of the type of gameplay we offer.

What part of "im not looking for damn units" do you not comprehend? Go away.
He's that guy who simultaneously tells people to post in the right section and yet breaks the very rule he criticizes others for breaking. Now, we don't have a moderator de facto so these issues struggle to get resolved.
Ok then what the F*ck do you wnat then?
You think people are going to pay and run a server, find mods, upload a server and magically put together exciting and engaging missions without planning or organization?
This is how groups, units, teams or factions are formed.
What you want is a freaking magical unicorn.
You want a server that is militarized with no order or organization.
I quite clearly said our unit (of which I retract my invitation from) was not milsim. We basically are organized Public Arma.
No ranks, no structure, no mandatory time you need to be there. Just download our mods and join the server and have fun.
But someone has to put in the time to make a mission and get everyone together.
Getting 20-30 people onto a server to complete a common objective doesn't happen by accident you fool. It takes organization and planning. This is why a unit, team or group becomes useful.
So good luck to you finding that mythical military server with no planning you muppet.
And eventually when you make your way back to Altis life, King of the Hill or public Invade and Annex just know you are experiencing about 5% of what ArmA can offer you.
And while your wading through the hours of prescripted buggy missions, 10 year old squad leaders and stonned teenagers who couldn;t organize a lay in a brothel, there will be some of us on private servers actually making the most of ArmA and experiencing it for it has to offer.
Very mature. No wonder you need to spam threads looking for members.
what I want is to be able to play arma for what it was designed for, a more realistic military game, nor a virgin roleplay game nor a virgin super serious unit, i understand you dont do trainings, forms or that other trash and that's a respectable and nice move, but I still dont want to be forced to join a community and pretend to be a soldier or download 5 GBs of mods to be able to play this game
and I still dont understand why people prefer this stuff instead of chilling on normal gamemodes
anyway, if your server actually doesnt require anything, if it's a server where you can joke, and chill without forcing to lose 3 hour of debrief and organizing a squad, i might visit it
I have a plan to bring the Military RP of Garry's Mod to Arma III in order to bring some of the Gmod community over, filled with stupid stuff and squeaky kids. I'm not dreaming of a virgin unit. I'm talking a chad gamemode with at most 100MB of required downloads in mods. I need some brainstorming backup. You want in?
Well, my master plan was to bust the virgins' balls, turning them into squeaky children.
That doesn't exist for a number or reasons:
1. An average mission, a good one will take someone around 3-5 hours to make in the editor. That is if they are going to Zeus it. It you are going to script everything it is going to take longer. Phantom - the guy who made all the doomsday night missions and a bunch of Predator vs Alien missions once told me it took him will over 30 hours to make a mission like that.
You think someone is going to spend all that time, just to do what with it? host a open server and HOPE people are going to show up.
You've already said you don't like CTi missions well that is the closest thing you will find to a casual ArmA co-op experience. But as you said it is boring, because it is all scripted and very predictable.
2. Mods make ArmA. Weither you have played arma with mods or not. The modding community is exactly why ArmA is still around. The Vanilla content is way too limiting and unrealistic.
As I said in my original post in my unit/group/team or whatever you want to call it. We play everything from Vanilla ArmA to modern day Military to Zombies, HALO, World War 2, Vietnam even Terminator and Alien vs Predator missions.
This is all and only possible through mods. Making a realistic experience and immerisve experience is almost impossible playing Vanilla, and without mods like Task Force Radio or ACRE it makes it impossible to communicate.
If you want to play ArmA how it was intended go join any one of the OFFICAL servers and see how many people join.
The vanilla game modes are so rudamentary, basic and stale even Warlords has died off only a few weeks after it was created.
You don't need to ask for community servers, if you want a vanilla experience go play on a officail server and see how good the base game is.
In the meantime the rest of us will be off making the most of ArmA.
So without joining a unit that agrees "Ok Friday night is game night" no one in their right mind is going to invest all the money ineed to start a server. No one in their right mind is going to make a Mission and spend all that time scripting.
LOL you're a joke you don't even have a server and you're giving me sh*t for how to recruit and run a server? Ha, good luck with your childs play GMOD game mode that no one will join.
I'll bet you right now that by the 25th of January 2020 you don't have 5 people playing that childs. Hell I bet by this time next year you don't even have a server.
Aww, cute, the triggered manchild caught spamming threads time after time cannot see nor take a joke. I make mods and bring new things to the game. You do not.
Keep scraping the barrel.
