How to get more than 60fps?
I see youtubers get 120+ fps and I have a acer xpiren core 5 i5 GTX 1050 and I only get 60 fps max. and it lags because the max is 60 fps when I spawn alot of soldiers, is there a way to get 120 fps??

There's no way you can get consistent 120 fps with that pc

What CPU exactly is that ? I assume it's a laptop that you own, but ARMA is mostly focused on your CPU. I recently upgraded my PC to an i5 8600k and without OC-ing I get consistent 140 FPS in singleplayer, around 100 with mods on SP and 50-80 on my unit's modded server

All depends on the gamemode/server!

More than 60 fps is good, but only pro can see the diference and your screen refresh rate is 60 Hz right? So i think more fps is always good? but truly it needed with 144 Hz monitor.

I play with 60 fps locked and yes its depends on the server witch you play. Sometimes i have drops to 35-40 fps and i just change server and play at another where situation better.

You don’t “see” the difference between 60 or 120 fps in a 60hz monitor, however you can “feel” it in the movements.

honestly, I got a pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥ (it's not that bad...but it sure cant run arma at FULL ULTRA MAXIMUM GRAPHICAL POTENTIAL) laptop and uhh..I just run low-standard settings. I get a decent 50-75 fps. That's more than enough for running arma. I do it for the gameplay, not necessarily the looks my friend.

That actually depends on the use case!

I play singleplayer zeus alone, my fps is locked on 60 fps and it never went 61+ fps.

that's correct. It's also a big differense from playing MP and SP most of the time where SP gives your more fps. for instance, I get stable 90 FPS on my own server with my own mission with a 1060 while my friend with a 1080 get 120+ which is a big difference from the standard 20/30 FPS you get when playing koth. its all about how the mission and server is setup. spamming tons of objects and having 50 players within the same area kills your fps.

Nah.. I'm sure it goes higher than that.
