That is kind of the point of the Eden Creator. It gives you the freedom to make scenarios to your liking.
The game makes a half-decent attempt at simulating body armor. This will probably surprise you, but successfully stopping four hits of generic .45 ACP wouldn't even result in a pass for Level I armor here in the US under the NIJ standard. Everything is six-hit minimum (aside from Level IV) and typical .45 FMJ is a pretty poor penetrator. It won't fare well against armor rated to stop .357 Magnum (Level II) or .44 Magnum (Level IIIA) from the 1990s, let alone what CSAT could be using in 2035.
The ability for a guy to "walk off" four stopped hits of .45 ACP is perfectly realistic. In fact, it should be more. Blunt trauma through body armor, IRL, is controlled under every body armor standard under the sun. Furthermore, psychological responses to pain are myriad and should not be trusted as a reliable method of getting the target to drop. Due to the lack of scientific faith in psychological stops, it wouldn't make sense to simulate them.
What you need is either armor piercing ammunition or some stronger body armor of your own. Those require mods to acquire and who knows how well Old Man works with those.
"If you're so unsatisfied with your car, why don't you make you own?" We pay experts to do things for us that we either can't or don't have time to do.
Why do you feel the need to defend Bohemia? The most charitable thing you can say is that their missions are unpolished. I don't mind giving people money who make fun toys for me. Isn't that what this business is about? Maybe you're right and I shouldn't bother with Arma anymore.
I've barely started this mission and already run into one and perhaps two progression stopping bugs/problems. I'm reporting them.
you save at safe houses or with sleeping bag items
biggest problem it has is the current lack of documentation of its systems
Are all questions that this game mode wants you to ask yourself.
Thats not ♥♥♥♥♥♥ or buggy development, its 100 percent intended..
Its a open world scenario where your free to achieve objectives anyway you wish, and it doesnt hold your hand while your doing it.
Maybe try changing up your play style. Be more stealthy, assume both sides are possibly hostile depending of course on each situation.
Use different outfits to accommadate different tasks you encounter.
And dont just barge into areas thinking you own the map. Some places are resctricted, and you will be shot on sight if they catch you.
Anyways, ive been having alot of fun with the scenario and believe its very good presentation for a beta.
I think you just pointed out, and himself that Arma 3 clearly is not the game for him, their is evidence in this post that suggest he/she is clearly not mature enough to even pay attention or understand what is going on. i can attest that this game as well as the ''Old Man'' mod that is also in *beta* has bugs... like anyone who ''plays'' Arma knows this lol on a more serious note, maybe this mod is not your style?? literally zero things to complain about here. pick some of the other THOUSANDS of scenario's on Workshop. there is a lot of other mods that are similar to this, and probably do a better job too.
LOL he seems too DAFT to understand this is not a mission included in the basegame and is something that is FREE
This is NOT part of the BASE GAME it is a USER MADE WORKSHOP MISSION
