Check your firewall, I would advise for the time you are hosting a server turning your Anti Virus off completely.
If nothing works, get your friend to port forward and see if they can host instead.
If they can't get it to work, call your internet provider and ask them for step by step process to prot forward. Sometime in rare instances ISPs will block ports on their end.
my friend can't find my server
I tried messing with router settings, and I got all the ports forwarded and UPnP enabled, but it still didn't let anyone join. I really think it's a flaw with the game. They shouldn't make people go through the whole process like I did, only to be disappointed. People told me it's my problem and not BI, but if a whole Network provider in a major city doesn't work, it's a problem
Check ur unpn thing
Make sure your ports are ported forward (default 2302 / 2303)
after that let them use direct connect thru the IP and it should pop up. If it dosnt work then you missed something. They should be able to find the server however if you would connect thru local host thru LAN if they are on the same internet (:
Your friend should be able to join your game directly from your friends list. You can invite him or he can join you. Additionally, if you have hosted your server and he still can not join, then it is an issue with the port forwarding, normally always is.
