SDB's and HARM missiles
The new dev build of the Jets Encore update contains small diameter bombs and harm missiles, but I can't seem to find out how they work exactly.
The SDB's glide like they're supposed to and i have personally managed to bomb a target 13 kilometers away, so they sure do glide. As you might imagine however, it is near impossible to aim this way and locking doesnt work up until about 3 kilometer away. Does anybody know why?

The second thing i can't get to work is the HARM. I shoot it at the general direction of the static radar systems, and about halfway it turned around and hit the USS liberty that was like 5 kilometers away. Does anybody know how this works exactly?

Yes, I am aware that the dev build is not super stable and not perfect.

when using A R M missiles, you will see a small dot on anything radary, just press t,if a small white shape comes up, fire and then wait for results

Also quite sure the SDBs are also lock on after launch.

I'm having trouble using the SDB. I'm pretty good with most of the weapons systems but can't seems to hit anything with the SDB. Any pointers :)

SDB are fire and forget, carpet bomb an area and they'll lock any nearby vehicles post drop. WARNING: they don't discriminate between friendly and enemy so be careful

I love the SDB's I generally go vertical to about 2000, flop over following the little square in the heading bar in the view HUD of the F18. The enemy so and so appears. A box shows up then a diamond then a bing with dot. Shoot. Miss the ground by yea high and get away. Its gone.

If its a 140 tank, throw two SDB's straight in.

Harms, hang in the sky near the AO. Wait for tigris to spawn. Its going to absolutely lock on to it specifically anywhere inside 10km. Kill it. Move in clear skies and start plinking with the SDB's

The problem with the SDBs is that they glide. When a pesky So and so drives into the AO town and gets between houses... gliding aint gonna help you. You gotta go vertical above it.
