This one is my favorite. Enemies move around much more dynamically.
I like it, but I swear sometimes it doesn't work. I know it also breaks some missions.
I tried ASR and the AI did alright but the driving was trash. VCOM AI driving is great, but the mod's performance penalty is a problem with larger AI counts.
That is true. My group stopped using it because we had trouble commanding large amounts of AI. I miss it so much, but understand why we can't use it. One of my buddies knows the developer so hopefully he'll get some of the issues sorted soon.
Are there any functional AI mods besides ASR and VCOM? I kinda like ASR's infantry combat but they do way too much armor reading (I use AAPM, so I've got double-digit armor everywhere but on the neck) and VCOM costs too much performance.
it's because the people who made the AI don't know what they were doing and ended up leaving the company and didnt leave BI with instructions on how they made the AI. So BI is trying to reverse engineer the AI so they understand how it was made and how they can fix/edit it
nothing has changed in 5 years, what sort of timeframe should they have for understanding and fixing it?
