It's the in game VR--simulated VR. Kinda why the models in it are grey. It's a from of testing.
Zero real life VR support.
As for the tracking, it's for eye/head trackers.
The only downside is there is no motion control support, so you still have to use your mouse and keyboard, and VorpX still requires light set up inside your Arma3 game to work, and you have to disable Battleye, which means public servers will not let you connect to them, so if you want to play online, you or your friends have to host a game without battleye activated.
I know this because I own an Oculus rift and VorpX. Still, most people will love Arma in VR! If anyone needs help to set up arma in vr send me a message, and I will help you, or there are plenty of youtube tutorials about setting up VorpX for Arma3.
