No, it was last confirmed earlier today by the devs.

It's a singleplayer campaign so that's a no.

That's just retarded. 90% of people play this game for a online/coop experience. Just screams lazy to me they don't put in the effort to make their new missions coop, aside from apex *which is a reeaallly short basic af campaign.* Tac ops, laws of war, main campaign all singleplayer... Arma 2's campaign was fully playable with 4 player coop. Why they can't be bothered to put in the extra effort to set a squad member to playable... is truly beyond me. Reduces the game to babysitting your 12iq half retarded ai squad so they don't kill themselves or get stuck in a building.

Because it really isn't that simple. It shows that you have no idea of Arma 3's scripting. Besides, the singleplayer campaign is for the people enjoying singleplayer content. Apex was extremely difficult playing solo, so it is beyond me that you get so mad at this.

Just stick to all the community created missions or go into the editor yourself and make something.

One good thing about single-player arma 3 is the framerate

AHAHAHAH I CALLED IT!!!

The biggest give away, and i spotted it straight away, and started saying to my friends in teamspeak "This is officially a single player DLC - with new models/assets that the lazy ♥♥♥♥ devs, will now rely on OTHER modders to create and keep there game afloat with".

They all says im bullshitting, im trippin, im reading into it too much.

But the biggest give away, was the new trailer they released, and i love how they sneakily announced it, without officially announcing it.

"From youtube trailer link"

7:57 - Arma 3's "SINGLE PLAYER CONTACT CAMPAIGN" contains somethigns that are not so, easily explained.

In other words: THIS IS NOT GOING TO BE A MULTIPLAYER EXPERIENCE, even though its a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ multiplayer based game.

Sorry for sounding so immature, and toxic within this, but it just bugs me to the highest extent, that arma 3, a MASSIVE multiplayer based mil sim game, that ONLY thrives and still thrives because of its MULTIPLAYER accessability and mods, is once again, covered up into a "Single player campaign".

So what?

Once again its going to be the MODDERS who create this into a proper mp mission based type game?

Who the ♥♥♥♥ in 2019, out there, is actually wakening up excited to hammer through arma 3 single player campaign/missions.

Come on to ♥♥♥♥ now.

Just another bohemia let down.

UNTIL, modders once again do all the work for them.

Give it about 3 months after its release, and you will see modders turn this into what it should have been from the get go.

So basically, BI should stop making campaigns? Would that be better?

I am. I enjoy Arma 3's SP content, whether it's done by BI or modders. Steel Pegasus is one of my all time favorite series of missions in a military shooter, and that was done by BI. There's quite a few people that play Arma mainly for the SP scenarios, even if they also play and enjoy the multiplayer. The game has both multiplayer and single player for a reason. You enjoy multiplayer, and that's great, but not every piece of DLC needs to be tailored to multiplayer.

And BI didn't try to hide that the campaign was SP, and not coop. It's been on their website since the official information release back in May.

Oh yeah in that case we might see something like the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ West German Army in 3rd party DLCs again, long live DDR.

I am quite happy with the new DLCs and I hope BI continues to make content for Arma3

To be clear, if you load the Contact DLC all multiplayer elements are removed. I can not develop a mission for multiplayer using the DLC elements, even if all players have the DLC. The multiplayer options are removed from the Arma menu once you load the full DLC.

Yeah, you'd have to create a mod to bring back the normal menu or less conveniently join servers through the launcher.

We honestly wouldn't lose that much.

You have no performance issues with Contact? Just checking cause our thread is growing with people who normally have good performance and high end PC's but Contact is decimating our FPS.

I'm a bit confused as it clearly states on the DLC's Steam web page that it is Multiplayer, Co-Op Lan, Co-Op Internet... yet it's not any of those things????
