CLOUD FILE PROVIDER IS NOT RUNNING

I downloaded Arma 3 again after not playing it for a year and when I click PLAY I am greeted with the saying above. I have looked up solutions on how to fix this and all I can find are outdated forums talking about OneDrive. Does anybody have A possible fix or a better explanation on fixing with OneDrive?

Make sure your C:\Documents and Settings\… is setup correctly.

Then disable OneDrive at login; restart; and join a server.

I found the folder, everything looks to be fine. I logged out of OneDrive and signed back in, I'm still getting the same error.

It sucks that I only have 6 hours on the game yet I doubt I can get a refund. The game is legit unplayable.

This sounds like some part of steam isn't running. Check your firewall and see if something got c.ock-blocked.

I had this exact problem and the only fix was to have onedrive running. which I didn't even have onedrive setup at the time. What I am thinking though is initially when I setup my PC I had onedrive running automatically and for some reason something from Arma was uploaded to it. After I have to re-install Windows I disabled onedrive. So Maybe Arma, even though I had to re-install it as well, still thinks there are files in onedrive.

So basically here is what worked for me: For me it was an issue with One Drive. I had uninstalled one drive HOWEVER the Arma 3 files were in my one drive for some reason. Go into your C Drive, then find one drive, then go into documents. You must move your documents folder out of one drive, into your normal C drive.
