20-30 FPS on any settings in multiplayer after 10 minutes without mods.
Take it or leave it.
I have 970 whit i5 6500 and have medium/high whit 4x aa on and have good fps 40/60 on it whit sp and mp modes.
Given the arrival of RTX cards and how long the 970 models have been around, these cards are much more affordable now. Perhaps you should consider getting another gtx970 and run them in SLi?
I've been running two GeForce gtx970 cards in my rig for at least 3 years now and so far I haven't hit any walls that would cause me to consider an upgrade yet...
I can't run Arma 3 at MAX settings without seeing some hiccups, BUT pretty darn close to max without any overclocks while maintaining a pretty steady 60fps minimum even on heavy load (this is usually my target when dialing in my settings).
I'm running an i7-4790k with 32Gb of memory with the 2-970s. With this setup, if I do experience any bottlenecks or hiccups in Arma, the 970's in SLi are very rarely the culprit...
