Best mx variant for koth?
i have the mx rifle and was wondering if the mxsw was worth it or the sniper variant.

I'm not really familiar with those myself, but I think that the MX is for CQB, which is why it's shorter. Length actually does affect your turning in doorways and stuff.

MXM is for medium range, accurate shots, and the MXSW is for medium range and spraying/suppressing enemies. Though it can be good on CQB at times.
it has too much damage dropoff at range to be an effective sniper.

MXC is the carbine version: close range MX is the rifle: short and medium range MXM is the marksman rifle: Medium to long range MXSW is a machine gun, it does everything the MX does with the exception of not having an underbarrel grenade launcher

Note: The MXM is outclassed by most other marksman rifles

CoD kid spotted, why not just call it the Cheytac, or .408 rifle (since its the only rifle in the game to use this calibre)

and what comes to real snipers, all of the arma rifles have their specific roles. Though if i was going out for long range, in KOTH, i would take the Lynx, just because i can also punch through some armored vehicles and helicopter cockpits (and main rotor assemblies) more easily.

please also note that the only weapons the mx outclasses is the fs2000 (idk the ingame name) 6.5 is pretty meh, multiple hits to kill unarmored targets at 200 metres so i can only imagine what it does at an armored target at 600. (in this case i refer to armored as in the use of an armored vest.)

i think ill go back to my ak 12, less recoil and more power within 300 meters, plus i like how it looks. i did buy the cmr 76 for ♥♥♥♥♥ and giggles and its a harder niche gun to use.

it hurts me on the inside when i use it

with me i tend to just stay with the mk14 or m14, it does well plenty of damage good accuracy and its a tack driver, it might not have a big mag but it takes less rounds to kill so, dont suck, hit what your aiming at. (edited to fix ♥♥♥♥ spelling)

recoils like a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ tho. u must have godlike aim
how so? iy has recoil yes, the mx doesnt but if you hit a target with that first round then they will have a very hard time taking you down before the second shot (if they survived the first round)
