Server hosting issues.
How do you host a server on Arma now? going to host game and using UPNP doesn't work. Server doesnt show up on any browser. (UPNP Goes through)

just see if someone can connect to you. are you hosting via dedicated or in game host option?

It rarely works. Try to connect via LAN with the help of Hamachi.

its always worked for me and friends. as long as you open up the correct ports and make sure no software is blocking it such as a firewall then your golden

Like I sad we atoped trying this BS and took Hamatchi. I can't help with the connection, it's probably Arma's fault.

Yeah, all 4 of my friends cant connect in any way, or see the server. in ArmA or using the steam join. It started ever since the "windows server host" was updated to 1.80.

did you open up the ports and check that its not blocked with your firewall? and what port are you hosting on

Pretty sure the ports are open as hosting worked fine before the update, but i dont know how to check the ports or the firewall, dont know how to open the ports either. Im hosting on the "standard" 2302 and tried 2303

login to your router and go from there to port forward. i have ports 2302-2306 open UDP and host both dedicated and through the ingame host. i have kaspersky running which has its own setting for firewall so if you have a AV then it may be different if you need to allow it through your firewall but since you said it was working before then your probably fine. upnp seems inconsistent for me so port forwarding just makes life so much easier.

Working fine for me, hosting a server right now using upnp. Your ports must be blocked.

I tried port forwarding, In the "setup static IP" stage i end up making it so that I can't connect.
