Ryzen 1200 and ARMA 3
Hi guys;

I am building a pc for ARMA 3 and H1Z1. I want to state that I have no obsession with high FPS so I can play it in middle or high settings and 35-45 FPS will be enough for me. In the light of these, please tell me whether I see this FPS rate with the AMD system below? (btw not fanboy comment please)

AMD Ryzen 3 1200 3.1 Ghz
8 GB 24000 Mhz DDR RAM
GTX 1050 Ti 4 GB 128 bit

Is that enough for 35-45 FPS or should I swap the processor with i3 8100? Thanks.

the i3 will help you out more in general across the board however there is nothing wrong with the amd system either, you will be spending less on the amd board with the ability to overclock to near i3 performance without much trouble. its hard to choose between the 2, just if your willing to OC then theres not really a reason to choose one over the other.

Well, I am not willing to OC. I am a postgraduate student so when sometimes I am off, I just want to kill time by playing ARMA 3 and Squad. My budget is 400-450 GBP normally and AMD system is ok for my budget but I want to make sure playing ARMA and Squad with this AMD system.

ah, well in that case yes you will be fine with the amd system, however when it comes down to getting more out of arma then id get the i3 if its still within your budget
