what army is blufor ?
american or british or something else ?

Blufor = Blue Forces (Blue, Friendly Units)
Opfor = Opposing Forces (Red, Enemy Units)

It's just for side chosing. Good guys VS Bad guys etc.

They represent NATO (officialy) practically though they are Americans and Brits.

Can you not see for yourself in the editor? Blufor represents the U.S Military and other NATO members.

Blufor represents NATO membernations, with only the US and UK prevalent in the base game.
OpFor represents a fictional PACT like alliance with prevalent ingame nations being China and Iran.
IndFor represents the nations that are not in these large alliances like rebels and memeber state militaries with in game are the Altian armed forces, which has resembelance to the Afghan national army in composistion and role.
The civ's are self explanitory- Non combatants.
