FYI: pagefile swap is must for A3 to operate properly, both 32 and 64 bit ,
none/too small swap = unforseen consequences ...
i could not join any servers so that may be a promblem with this beta
No, the devbranch is only playable on devbranch servers and there is only one server atm which is compatible.
oh ok. well how do i fix this

I'm getting 5 FPS on the main menu as well as in game. Was getting 30-50 with annoying stuttering on main branch. Surely this can be fixed? I was really hoping to be able to fly choppers without stuttering.

Specs:
Lenovo Y40-70
i7 4700 2.4 ghz
8gb ram
geforce 860m 6gb
Many lods are still broken.

Tree lods. go from high to low and back to high again as you move closer to them, this happens in quick succession so the trees are constantly changing LODS. They should not be snapping back to low quality lods as you get closer to them.

Buildings. Again lods snap back to Low quality before snapping back to high as you move closer again still broken.

Some of the LOD layers flicker mainly on trees.

Tanoa has the worst lod switching of all the maps.
What would we do without youdave?

I think there something wrong with the LOD or an other thing with the structure that cause FPS drop + the AI path, when there a lot of object the performances decrease so much i take few hour for try few thing on many map (moded and vanilla).
I put my player character far from the action in the open field, with AI fightting in a other openfield thats work not bad (was better before apex).
Same with my character in a openfield really far from the AI, but the AI fight in a town, its become quickly unplayable, i try on many map Altis, and other townmap like diyala... if there a lot of object like diyala i can't play with more than 4 AI fireteam its like there an issue with the pathfinding i got +80 fps in the open field without AI, if i put 10 fireteam fighting each other (5vs5) in a open field too i got 40-50 so its pretty good, if i put that 10 fireteam in the town when the game start i got 40 and every 10 sec there a 10-15 fps drop + the fps decrease over the time like (40/30---38/25---35/20---30-20---and the fps drop too 20-14 after 5-min) if i play in the town near the AI with a 500m viewdistance i got the same result, i dont have 40 fps when the game start but 25/30.

I try an other thing just myself with no damage and i put the AI with a command like this they don't move they stay in position, i don't have this performance drop, i got the 25-30 (cause im in a town) and its like stable sometimes that down to 20 if there few AI fire on me at the same time but there no performance drop.

Its like the AI spam an error when they cant find a path and that kill the performance

I just opened up the 64-bit version of Arma 3. Are there any online games for this version or is this soley for offline play? During the offline Maxwell part of campaign, the game runs alright except the trees, grass are rendered with a blue outline. When I move, some areas are rendered correctly but it goes right back to the blue outlining. I tried to screenshot what I'm describing but steam's screenshot isn't working all of a sudden. It really looks ugly. I will try to record it momentarily.

Specs are:

i7-6700
980Ti
32gb DDR4-2133
Game saved on HDD

Update: Here's the video of what I described. I went back to 32-bit and everything was normal.

did you change drivers? if not try the latest one. otherwise sometimes a rollback can help too.
btw do you use g sync? if you do, this link maybe helps https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jTbCYfMnzAM

It works with multiplayer but there might be no servers for that version. When i tested it a few weeks ago i didnt have that blue outline. Looks wierd.

No G-Sync monitor (doubt I will ever use one). I use an Acer 144hz monitor. I'm not sure if any drivers were released the past week or not, but I think I'm up to date.

My thoughts exactly. Server list all had red X's. There were no 64-bit servers up, which is somewhat surprising as I figured many were already testing this version out. I'm sort of late to the 64-bit Dev branch party. When I loaded up the 32-bit version, everything was normal.

I'd hope to get this sorted out to maximize use of my memory since I have plenty of it.
Same reason i dropped back to 32 bit.. Lack of servers running 64 bit and for what they cost Bohemia could claim money back as expenses..
You can try it now
