Arma 3

AMD GPU fps bost.
I have found an FPS bost (it worked for me) but be warned setting this higher than 60fps could cause gpu damage and may not even work. If you open up your AMD Radeon settings and select any game (For this one im using ArmA 3) There is a setting called Frame Rate Target Control. I have set mine to 60 so I can get stable 60fps you can set yours higher but be warned it may damage your gpu. But since I have done that my fps have stayed above 60 but you will still get the some fps drop depending on what you are doing. http://imgur.com/a/sklGG

I'm pretty sure that there's no way this could damage your GPU. Furthermore this is probably just some advanced adaptive V-sync which is available for nvidia cards too.

No it overclocks your card. Not but a lot but it could still cause damage if your PSU is just enough as I was looking at the default clock speed and I saw it jump when I turned on the capture.

For alot of people the gpu is not the bottleneck in Arma 3 it's there cpu

But still, it will never exceed a certain safe clock speed since it's the official driver. I'm not sure about the second point tho. When the card required say 200w, but your PSU could only deliver 150w, I guess that it just either couldn't clock up or the display driver would crash - but probably no permanent damage would be caused.
I'm running a stable +20% OC on my GTX 770 in Arma 3 (1260 MHz). I even tried 1,3 Ghz, but it would crash after 10 minutes. And even from that I got no damage, so assuming that your driver won't OC beyond ~15%, it should be perfectly safe. Still a nice feature for sure.

Actually, there is a remarkable difference between my GTX 770 (4GB) and my buddy's Titan X Maxwell. He achieves 60+ FPS on almost every server even if it's a crappy one, I usually got 30+ on average servers and 50+ on proper dedicated servers. He owns a Haswell i7 tho, but even my Ivy Bridge i7 is no where close to 60% usage on core 0.
But you're probably referring to AMD or old intel systems anyways ;).

Yeah there will be, like when i changed from a 270x to a 1080 and from a 8350 to 6700k, my first comment was to the op!
