If I get it right, you want to play a LAN game with your friends OVER THE INTERNET..... well...
Did you know that LAN = LOCAL Area Network? If you want to host a server for internet mp, you have to host an internet server, not a local.... OMG
But go on insult the people that try to help with your bad explanations...
Edit: Oh, I see you're from texas, now I understand why your iq is so low....
Top necro of the day.
This part is your problem right here. LAN is for using it within your home. So only things directly connected to your router. So you need to not use LAN. You need to set up a open connection and open your ports. Usually 192.168.1.1 to your router settings and also open those ports in your firewall. Google setting up a arma server for the ports. Good luck and before your start saying people are unhelpful please provide the correct information.
He is using Hamachi, basically a virtual LAN network. It worked for me so far with no problems in most games, ranging from Minecraft to OpenTTD. This dude just did not want to take the even slightest security risk from opening ports and you just salted him away.
I am also having the same problem being stuck on the loading screen, not being able to join.
P.S.:YES, I brought up a 2 years old thread.
but as for your problem have ran into this before check the logs, about where the server is loading up and see if the server is getting hung up while creating, if not then its client side and i dont have anything for you there other then try 32bit,
PS. yes i replyed to you bringing up a 2 year old thread, well done
