Arma 3
3rd person view perspective changes when flying helicopters
During gameplay a few other pilots confirmed having this same issue, but I can't seem to find any discussion or reports about it in the forums, maybe I missed something?
It only seems to occur in multiplayer from what I can tell.
After a little bit of flying, the perspective behind the helicopter starts to change in elevation, giving you a very inconvenient view and gets stuck like that. I found that landing and refueling at the repair sights will reset the view to normal, but only until you fly around a bit before it starts to shift from it's normal reference point again.
I know this isn't a game shattering issue, but it is rather frustrating.
If you want to tell me to fly in 1st person, I do, I use each mode for particular situations. Please don't bring the 1st v.s. 3rd argument into this. Suggesting that people don't use a particular feature of the game as a solution to a bug is simply lazy.

I belive when you are in game if you double press alt and use your num pad arrows you can position the thrid person camera how you like, but on multiplayer servers some are set to certain angles ;)

Thanks for trying to help. What I'm addressing is the fact that the normal view gets altered after a period of time, I don't want to change it, I just want it to stay consistent. It's not the perspective itself that I have issue with, it's the fact that it slowly changes. I'm not talking about the camera changing because of the terrain or maneuvers, it's an actual change in perspective overall that occurs. It wasn't like this before, it's something that has changed rather recently. I have over 1,600 hours played, and that's mostly piloting hummingbirds and pawnees, believe me, there's something goofy going on with the camera view again.
