If you have a correct installation of ACE3 and CBA[ace3mod.com], you should be able to use a sniper scope as explain with the ACE3 Scopes Wiki[ace3mod.com].

I know how to set it up but how does the zeroing work as in if my target is say 380m what do i set up? Setting 3.8 doesnt seem to work it shoots way above? And keeping it on 0 seems more accurate lol. I may have to mention that i was also on a hill like 300m above. I just dont get how to set it up accurately.

ok.. let me set out the basics the number you dial in on the scope is in mils (miliradians, the angular measurement), it isnt whatever range your shooting at unlike the vanilla system or some scopes in RHS, it is merely at what angle you need to usualy elevate to bring the arc of the bullet path in line with a target at whatever range your shooting at..

you will need a kestrel, a range card and a vector, once you realise what to do get the ATragMX which is the balistic computer and id recomend looking up video guides on how to use the computer properly..

but roughly speaking, unless your using the subsonic gun (the one everyone thinks is crap cus they dont know what it is), at under 500 meters you will be fine just using the range card and the vector to get the right range for your bullet after using the kestrel to get the ambient temperature, now, rarely will you get a number that falls right on the 5°C increments, so do a bit of guesswork as to the numbers your in between at whatever range your shooting at.

so, regardless of what gun your using, say the temperature is 23.8°C and your shooting at 400m, the number might be like 20°C = 1.8mils, 25°C = 2.1mils.. i would just go 1.9 and take the shot, possibly aiming a little lower as i know my bullet will probably hit higher if anything.

dont do anything super complicated, your obviously new to advanced balistics so dont go in above your head, take it slow and learn, watch tutorials, and watch the playlist im going to link you, it shows you the math and the physics behind it, which if you want to make long shots your gonna need to understand the basics of, by the way, the guy that is behind it helped the ACE dev with the advanced balistics, if that says anything

the playlist - https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLJUaiRIEduNXoal2_PkBZi0vDCIcEPxUn

a set of maps made by the dev for you to practice in - https://www.dropbox.com/sh/auidcnt8piyy4sv/AABE7e7Vz2CmEsyIcksZ21URa?dl=0

(id recomend using the VR map at first)

I think he's playing with the default ballistic. :)

@Vyrex, you should take a Range Card, you will have the best result with it.

Whats the difference betwen default and advanced ballistic. I just download the normal ACE mod and like to use the Intervention M200.

Look at your range card when you have your weapon equiped(it will change depending on your weapon and ammo). Make sure your weapon is zeroed to 100m(it will say 100m in the top right corner of the range card if it is). Your card will give you a list of ranges on the left side in 50m increments and a list of where to zero the scope to vertically in the column to the right of that starting at 0.0 for 100m. Obviously 99% of the time it's not going to be an even distance to what's on the range card so you'll have to find the closest range and compensate for it. For example with your target being 380m away I'd find 400m on the range card, zero to what it says for 400m and compensate for the remaining 20m by aiming a little lower.
