Dont forget body armour affects the entire region not the graphic represented, Ie Head/torso etc etc.
Would actually be interesting to see what kind of different reactions there would be.

Arma should never be too realistic, with realism comes immersion and awareness and if you get too immerset it kills the fun factor, it's a game after all.
I´m not saying I know 100% everything about the game or that I am super good at it , but I at least understand how the armour and other basic mechanics of the game work.
Are you dumb? Where did I ever say I was an expert? Also 5000 hours, that is literally sad. Get off daddy's laptop and go to daycare.
I am not trolling. So sorry for you to learn that there are valid complaints about this game. I was disappointed to find out how overrated and overpriced it is. I love to debate things with people who aren't complete idiots.
I willprobably put in 10 more hours including in the multiplayr before making a final verdict. So far though I am very disappointed. Also 2 hours is quite a bit of time. Not everybody has all day to play games like that kindergartener with 5k hours.
Try some community-made mods. I'll be honest with you, Bohemia dropped the ball on firearm and armor mechanics this round. All weapons underperform their real-life counterparts while being massively more accurate. Bullets fail to penetrate hilariously-poor cover (stone fences block 12.7x99mm) and body armor is hilariously good, as you can probably tell. It gets really absurd when a Carrier Special withstands a full magazine of 5.56 and the wearer just spazzes like a guy hopped-up on meth. You need 'AP' ammunition but Bohemia failed to provide you with any, so start getting back-to-back headshots or get some mods.
I sent you a friend request, I'll hit you up with some mods that provide a far superior experience to anything Bohemia can muster - and for free! The mods around these parts easily demonstrate why Arma III remains unchallenged as the King of Milsim.
