as for ace you probably have corrupted files. it works fine on a dedicated server.
Reckon the problem with ACE got fixed with a little help from pledgy :D
It appears there is a problem with ACE initializing on the server. I've been using the Steam one, in order to make sure it is easy for others to get it and have the same version as the server.
That said, Cade, it should be worth noting that ACE isn't made for dedicated servers really. I haven't arma'd in a bit, but i've made a few friends recently that do so I'll ask them and get back to you.
if you drive really slow or glitch around in a car, can't open the ace menu, and medical system doesn't work when you put ace on your dedicated server, its because ace never really installed on your server.
When the client has ace, they are able to use some features of ace like hand gestures and see medical supplies of ace. However if the server doesn't have ace, then driving doesn't work, healing probably wont work, sniping wont work, etc.
My problem, it turns out was in my command line for the server i put mods=@ace;etc... instead of -mod=@ace;etc.... Check the rpt file of your server to see if ace is loaded into your server. This was my fix I hope it helps anyone with this issue (your command line is not loading the mod you intended so you have a typo somewhere) because I know damn well I scoured the internet for hours finding none of this advice.
